As an independent celebrant I will provide a personalised funeral service:

  • Advise and support you planning a unique ceremony to commemorate and celebrate the life of your loved one 

  • Liaise with your chosen funeral director

  • Ceremonies for burial, cremation, internment of ashes and memorials

  • Ceremonies for adults and children

  • I have an extensive library of verses, poems, readings and music for you to choose from

  • Write a personalised eulogy in tribute of your loved one

  • Include hymns and prayers if requested

About Me

Hello, my name is Alison Wright and I have worked in public services for the past 28 years where, 16 years ago, I became involved in supporting families when they lost a loved one.

 

Getting to know families and attending funeral services made me realise that the service need not just be a conventional goodbye.  There is a difference to be made by the personalisation of the service, the sharing of  precious memories and recalling special times. The perfect funeral service is the beginning of our healing process.

 

I trained to be a Celebrant to help you share your precious and special memories and would love to work with you to help you achieve this through Cardinal Celebrant Ceremonies.

The reason I chose Cardinal for my company name?

I want you to know why I chose Cardinal as the name for my company.  Our name is an important part of our personal identity. I wanted my company name to have real meaning and an affinity to what I do.

Cardinal Meanings and Symbolism   

Of main importance and principle - My clients are my main importance and my principle thought when working with them.

Cardinals Appear When Angels Are Near - A long held belief that following the death of a loved one if you see a red cardinal bird it's a sign they are still watching over you. The sentiment behind this connected with me, holding our loved one in our heart and our thoughts keeps them with us, they never leave.

In astrology Cardinal signs are at the front - They start each of the four seasons, moving forward and initiating change. They encourage new beginnings.
